Flora de la Costa Mediterránea III
Esta es la Platja de Cavaió de Arenys de Mar (Barcelona) de la que os hablaba.
Se aprecia que es una zona alterada. En primer plano vemos una mata de Pennisetum, un camino para paseantes y bicicletas, la valla que marca la entrada en la arena de la playa, que es bastante extensa y al fondo la línea azul del mar.
La zona está arreglada, han plantado unos pinos (Pinus pinaster) y a la derecha se ven unos pequeños ejemplares de Tamarix gallica con tutores, para que den buena sombra cuando crezcan, razón por la que la flora localizada allí no sea exclusivamente costera y haya encontrado especies de hábitats distintos y de zonas alteradas.
Es por ello que encontré esta gramínea "Cola de plumas o cola de zorro" Pennisetum villossum R.Br. que tanto podría ser plantada como ornamental, como ser silvestre, pero no es una planta específica de las zonas costeras.
Es muy bonita esa inflorescencia en espiga blanca.

Capsella bursa-pastoris, L.
Se llama Capsella bursa-pastoris, L y se conoce como bolsa de pastor, botella, hierba del carbonero, jaramago blanco, jarilla, pan de pastor, pan de queso o pan y quesillo, en Catalunya la conocemos como serronet de pastor o herba del pastoret.
Es una herbácea anual, de la familia Brassicaceae, es nativa del Este de Europa y Asia menor, pero naturalizada en muchas partes del mundo en regiones de clima templado.
Inconfundible por sus frutos acorazonados, silículas, que parecidas a las bolsas de los pastores, esta pequeña hierba, de apenas 40 cms de altura, tiene las hojas inferiores en roseta basal y las superiores lanceoladas, enteras y ligeramente dentadas.
Inflorescencia en racimo terminal con pequeñas flores blancas con algunas líneas rojizas o moradas.
Es una planta arvense y en ocasiones ruderal, conocida desde la antigüedad. En la Edad Media se usaba contra las hemorragias y las pérdidas de sangre y en la actualidad se utiliza en fitomedicina para las afeccciones digestivas en decocción o para el tratamiento de úlceras, fibromas o tumores por vía tópica.
Ví una mata de alfalfa (Medicago sativa, L.) en flor, planta forrajera cultivada en casi todo el mundo y crece de manera espontánea en campos de cultivo, bordes de caminos y lugares alterados.
La especie exclusiva en arenales marítimos es la llamada Medicago marina, L. una herbácea de porte rastrero, con hojas grisáceas y cubiertas de una densa y larga pelosidad, que tiene las flores amarillas y de la que, lamentablemente, no tengo ningua foto.

Querida amiga me encantan tus fotos y sin duda la flora de las dunas es espectacular, una pena que se cuiden tan poco, aquí algunas estaban bastante dañadas, ahora las están recuperando y es un alivio. Feliz fin de semana y un besin enorme.
ResponderEliminarEl impacto humano que cada vez conquista más terreno en playas y zonas costeras hace que esta flora esté amenazada y en peligro de extinción, una verdadera pena y me parece muy buena idea que las estén recuperando en tu tierra, por aquí no tengo noticia de que se esté haciendo algo al respecto ¡me informaré!

Me encanta este post amiga Montse al igual que los anteriores. Existe una cantidad muy interesante de flora por toda la costa mediterránea que casi apenas conocemos y que se debería de cuidar muy mucho para que no desaparezca y prolifere mucho más. Preciosas las imágenes.
